Making / Throwing a ceramic clay pottery Apple on the wheel

Throwing an Pottery Apple on the wheel.
How I tried to make a pottery Apple shaped pot.
Possibly you could put a slot in the side and make it into a money box.
Just another enclosed pot with a stalk on the top really, no special techniques.
I know it's not exact but it gives the impression of an Apple.

You have got MAD pottery skills.   I find it hard to close and item, you kill me making it look so easy…. I made pumpkins last year… They turned out …. OK.  Thanks for taking the time to make and post these videos and sharing with all of us amateurs.  YES, it looks like a GREAT APPLE!.

  2. I love watching your video’s i don’t even do clay art but i just love watching them and your video’s truly inspire me and make me want to make clay art and pottery!! 🙂 Hopefully when i’m older. By the way this could be a tomato too if it had the leafs on the top but it does in some way resemble and apple probably should’ve added a leaf on the stem but hey i like it!!

    Stunning. Truly amazing.
I’m a true beginner, but you may enlighten me on your watering technique. You seem to just spill water randomly.

It looks like a giant cooking apple. Did you glaze it red, green, or a combination of both colors?

Doesn’t matter how long ago these videos were made, still excellent learning. Thanks for sharing your skill and talent.
Looks like an apple to me. My thought while I watched was to make it into a container. Perfect to fill with treats for teachers.
