I enjoyed watching the process of creating those dishes and think it’s really cool when others are happy to share that knowledge! How neat! They seem to be very efficient and conscientious of waste! My favorite kind of documentary is one I’m not bored watching. That was very enlightening, interesting, and enjoyable to watch!!!

that ‘special’ bowl. been in production for decades now… you have one yet?
For centuries, not decades. The design goes back to the Ming Dynasty era, so five hundred years or more.

I have this rice pattern crockery and trying to find additional items. Would anyone know who the exporter in Jingdezhen is? Tq
You’ll have to be quick. The last factory making these said that they’ll close down as soon as they can’t find people to come and work (apparently, it is a skill that has to be acquired with time and patience), or when somebody buys the machines. But don’t worry, the world is still sitting on warehouses of this stuff.
